OK, so “fighting” might be a stretch. Still amazing how aggressive/curious these creatures are. Two or three of these would have been a challenge for this guy, I suspect.

A 300-pound giant spotted eagle ray takes flight from the water in Florida, coming on board a boat, hitting a woman from Illinois. She was pinned to the deck, but the ray was eventually returned to the water.
This happened in 2008 and the ray killed a 57 year old woman.
I love the name of the town Hondo. Almost as much as I like Wink, Texas.

Pretty Amazing……
A woman who lives about 25-30 miles from Brady, Texas, sent these pictures and claims were taken nine miles from her house. A cow was found killed and a trail cam put in place to see what was preying on it. You can count up to eight cats in one of the pictures.
Who ever heard of eight cougars at a kill site? They’re acting more like a pride of lions than the solitary creatures they normally are…

The LaCrosse Tribune has an interesting story of a buck that tried to battle an Elk. Unfortunately the Elk was a concrete statue. The buck didn’t stand a chance.
