Huh?  That’s correct.  A BLACK Whitetail.
OK, this animal has a condition named melanism.  Melanism is the opposite of albinism.  Where albinism is a condition where the animals has less pigmentation,  melanism is an condition where the animal has excess pigmentation or melanin.

Here are some photos of a couple of albino deer in Quincy Michigan Wahkon, Minnesota. These pictures were taken out the back door of a local homeowner. The homeowners have been seeing these two for a while but couldn’t snap a decent picture during the dusk or dawn hours. Recently they showed up to the feeder during daylight hours and they were able to get the photos below.

This email came to me today. Spectacular photos of a white moose seen near Park City, Utah. I understand that the coloration is quite normal. I don’t know how rare it is to see a white moose. But, apparently, these are not considered albino.
