Piebald deer are a sight to behold. Unfortunately with the recessive trait a lot of times comes curved spines, under bites, shorter legs and other less life threatening traits. They are unusual but you probably did this big boy a lot of suffering in his later life if he did carry any of those traits. Nice rack and beautiful coat that will hopefully be used well.

An interesting oddity to see in the wild sure, but nothing special. There are people who breed albino, and piebald deer… Looking at the size of this thing, I really wouldn’t be surprised if it was a captive animal, and this was during a staged hunt.
Although I respect Native American traditions, in this day it isn’t really relative to life, especially with deer being captive bred. There is nothing sacred about it, just an animal with a recessive trait… He was beautiful, and if it is wild was lucky to get as large as it did. Imagine how easy it is for a coyote, wolf, or bear to see a piebald or albino fawn in a thicket?

it is an sacred animal if u hunt it if it was sacred, there is no reason because it is sacred that u cant kill it, and actually if i understand, killing this animal as an indian would make u a warrior
